The noise is definatley intermittent.. And it is easy to see that the tensioner pulley is vibrating back and forth very fast when the noise is being made. So there is no bearing noise coming from the compressor.. Best way (only way, actually) to be sure is to pull the belt and spin everything, then replace everything that spins or sounds like a skateboard wheel.
